I have always admired Margo Selby's colourful woven textiles and have been aware of her work since my sister interned for her 15 years ago. It was fantastic to visit her Whitstable base, and photograph Margo at her loom, surrounded by sketches, reference books, yarns and samples. We discussed my own family's textile firm which I have been researching, it has always been a source of inspiration for my ongoing Makers & Manufacturers series.
