Brazier's Park
Brazier’s Park School of Integrative Social Research was founded in 1950 and is Britain’s longest running intentional community. It has 15 permanent residents ranging from 11 to 93 years, these children have grown up within the grounds of this 300 year old house in the Oxfordshire countryside, where their parents live and work. -
Brockwell Park
In the heart of Brixton lies a communal garden that is maintained and run by 22 local volunteers. Once a kitchen garden belonging to the nearby Brockwell Park estate, the project now aims to provide a resource for the public and to promote organic food and plant production. It provides a meeting place for many different cultures and hundreds of species of fruit and vegetables are grown throughout the year, in the restored 1950s greenhouses and surrounding plots. -
Meerut Wedding
An Anglo-Indian wedding in Meerut, north India. The five-day event included traditional customs such as bridal mendhi, the bangle ceremony and the midnight marriage service on the final evening. It was the groom’s first visit to India and first introduction to the bride’s extended family. -
