The Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour, Oxford commissioned SEA Design to create a new identity and website. Carmel documented the scientists at work in the laboratories of the new £15 million pound research centre.

Teach First Week is an annual campaign which provides distinguished professionals with the opportunity to step away from their day job, go back to the classroom, and share the experiences of their careers. This year Carmel documented Dame Ellen MacArthur, Sir Terry Waite, Adrian Chiles and Baroness Lola Young teach in inner-city London schools.

Turning Heads, Inspiring Minds and In a Class of their Own were three books commissioned by the Teaching Awards, for which Carmel did all the photography. These projects took her to over thirty primary, secondary and special schools throughout the UK.

A series of images taken for the BBC as part of their Turn Back Time project, based on the history of the High Street.

Push Print moved site and relaunched their company with re-branding by BB/Saunders. These photographs were taken in their new warehouse in Bermondsey, during the installation of their Heidelberg printer.

During a month long visit to Edinburgh, Carmel was commissioned to photograph renowned artists and comedians including David Strassman, Richard Herring and Eugene Mirman, exclusively for FEST newspaper.
